  • Bringing the Financial Domain into Behavioral Health

    Speaker: Jeffrey Anvari-Clark

Recognizing the critical nature of financial capability, the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) mandates the inclusion of financial content in social work education, emphasizing its importance in addressing the Grand Challenges for Social Work. The American Psychological Association identifies personal finance and cost-of-living issues as the foremost stressor for Americans as of 2022. Attendees will learn the significance of incorporating financial considerations into case management practices and delve into how financial concerns intertwine with other behavioral health issues, including stress, anxiety, depressive disorders, money disorders, and conditions related to substance or medication use.
