Ann Fritz
Ann Fritz is the Environmental Justice / Nondiscrimination Program Manager at the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ). She has worked for more than 25 years in the public sector as an environmental scientist, geologist, geographer, and communicator. She has dual Master’s degrees in Geology and in Geography, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her area of expertise is geography, GIS and using geospatial data for scientifically sound decision making and navigating change. She is energized when helping others successfully understand and navigate systems change. Ann is a member of the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant team at the NDDEQ, focusing on stakeholder engagement with low-income and disadvantaged communities. She is also collaborating with CAP regions 1, 5 and 8 on an EPA Environmental Justice Government to Government Grant for a radon education, testing, and mitigation assistance.
