Ben Faul

Ben Faul is the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program Administrator and oversees the adoption of the State Building Code. In his role, Ben provides federal, state, and local guidance to community action agencies, as well as monitoring, training and technical assistance to those Agencies. Ben joined the Commerce Department in late 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he helped award & administered the federal CARES fund awards to businesses affected by the virus in North Dakota. In late 2021, he transitioned to the Division of Community Services (DCS) as the CSBG Program Administrator. Here, he focuses on building relationships with individuals, communities and tribes to help individuals escape the death spiral of poverty.

Ben graduated from Tabor College in 2011 with a degree in Business Administration and Biblical Studies. Residing in Bismarck with his two cats, Ben enjoys researching Ai, investing in cryptocurrencies and the occasional beach volleyball game during his free time.
