David Klein

David Klein is the Executive Director of Great Plains Housing Authority based in Jamestown. David has been the Executive Director since 2010 and overseen Housing Choice Voucher expansions, funding transitions, Mainstream Voucher implementation, merging housing authorities, rebranding the agency, contracting with ND Rent Help, and now achieving Moving to Work status. GPHA directly serves Stutsman, Wells, Foster, and Logan Counties, and manages Dickey, Sargent, and Eddy Counties.

David serves as the chairperson for the North Dakota Chapter of NAHRO, participates in Olmstead Committees, assisted with 1915i Medicaid legislation, and collaborates with agencies across the state to expand housing opportunities and improve access.

Klein has a Bachelor’s degree from Valley City State University and a Master’s Degree from Minot State University.
