Kayla Jones

Kayla is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and is currently attending NDSU getting a master's in educational leadership. Kayla has been an activist and mentor for students of color in the F/M area for years now and is continuing to do so at the middle school and high school level. She wants to use her degree to focus on diversity and retention of students of color in higher education. She also work the North Dakota human rights coalition as a DEI trainer, she believes diversity, equity and inclusion work should be engrained in everything we do. When she's not in school or her own studies you can find her listening to records or writing more spoken word pieces.
