Poverty Simulation - June 27, 2019 - Bismarck

ABOUT THE TRAINING: The poverty simulation experience is designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month-to-month. This simulation is sponsored by Community Action Program Bismarck Region, Money Follows the Person, Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, and the Minot State University Center of Excellence.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Everyone is welcome to attend! Community members at-large, law enforcement, educators, medical personnel, elected officials, and staff working directly with clients in programs such as Community Action, transitional housing programs, emergency shelters, and social services. Training is targeted to new participants, not attendees of previous simulations.
